Today was a very exciting day for the kids at school. It was the annual spaghetti lunch. With that also brings the Optimists to the school to hand out medals for previous sport days. Well, Joel proudly came home with a gold medal for disc golf. The best part of the story is I had a mom text me to congratulate Joel, because her girls told her all about his win, and then the next day a mom told me that it was great being at the awards because the whole school cheered Joel on as he was presented with is medal! Such a proud mama!
