It is completely pooring with rain outside. I was going to walk to Shannon's tonight and then we were going to walk to McD's for an ice cream, good thing we didn't walk! It was nice to get out and just have some girl time. It makes a world of difference for me to be out of the house away from my kids for a short bit, it makes me a better Mom. I know it sounds funny, but I'm not wired to be the classic mother who lives and breathes for her children. Does that sound terrible? I don't know how to explain it, but being out and about from them, I get the opportunity to miss them. I love being a mom and I absolutely love and adore my children, don't get me wrong!
I've been watching the Olympics, it's bad because I get hooked on them at night when I know I should be sleeping. Sunday morning at 4am, I was feeding Amberly and I turned the tv on to watch the rowing, well then I got hooked and I had to stay up to see Sarah B. in the women's 8, next thing I know was it was getting close to 6am! I just remember thinking to myself, "Man I'm so stupid, and they only came in 4th!" ha ha ha. Oh well, only one more week of them, then I won't have anything to hold my attention in the middle of the night. In fact, I just won't turn that darn thing on!
We move next Thursday. We've got everything packed up that we can for right now, and Dave is taking next week off. So I think we're in good shape. I don't like living surrounded by all these boxes, I just keep telling myself that by the end of September I should be fully settled and I can start to just enjoy each day. Right now I feel like I'm missing out, life is just all about the move. I'm missing out on enjoying my baby, and I just feel scattered. I can't wait to have life resume to a normal state!
Man I miss playing baseball. I was playing volleyball for a bit yesterday with Dave and I had a blast. So much so that I might look for a v-ball team to join this fall. We'll see. I feel like I have my energy back, I just need to get back into shape!
Sounds like the rain has let up.
I thought about this long and without much effort and decided to try this, seeing how I enjoy reading some of my friends blog, why not give them the pleasure as well??? We'll see...

House Progress
I kept forgetting to post the pictures of our house has it was going up. I missed getting just the picture of the hole. But oh well. This first one is of the forms that were set before they poured the foundation.
This one is of the foundation poured.
Here is the first floor framed.
Then here is the second floor and roof with shingles and insulation.
And here it is with windows, brick and garage doors. I will have to go down there again to get another shot of it with all the brick done.
So there it is. Wow, 2 & 1/2 weeks before we move in! That's insane!!

One Month
Well I am going to try and be faithful to Amberly as I was to Caleb at taking pictures of her monthly birthdays. So here are a few I took of her this past weekend. This first one is my absolute favourite, what I call a "Blow up worthy" one.

I Absolutely love taking pictures, I'm starting to look into getting a digital SLR, I think I would have lots of fun with one, but I take so many pictures as it is, I can't imagine how many I would take and love with a new toy camera! The issue is, when it comes time to getting them developed I have a hard time choosing so I get so many done, then later on when I go to put them in an album or scrapbook I have so many shots that are similar! Oh well!
Not much is happening, well packing is happening, we spent the weekend packing up many things. Our house is full of boxes and all the walls are looking bare. Only 3 weeks away! How scary!
Today I had an old friend come to visit me, Tammy from public school. Her and her husband found my place and stopped in for a visit. It was so wonderful to see her. She has the same laugh and it was great to hear it in person again!
Well, I should go and get myself ready for tomorrow, a day with both my kids. Oh ya, today we forgot Caleb's blanket at Christa's. At bedtime I thought I could be sneaky and give him another soft blanket to hold. Well he was hilarious. At first he hugged it, then he pulled it away from him and started to examine it, looking very oddly at it. Then he tossed it to the ground. Then he picked it up again and carried it around. I thought, perfect, it was going to work. But again, he looked very closely at it, and then let fall to the ground. So I thought I better quickly run to Christa's to get his real blanket, so I did. I'm sure he would have been fine without it, but at the same time, I didn't want to run the risk of an interupted sleep tonight. My sleep is very precious to me right now, and anything I can do to ensure a good sleep, I do!! ha ha ha.

Loving My Babies
Well it's been four weeks now that I've had Amberly, four weeks, I really can't believe that. Where did those weeks go? It's been a tough adjustment, but I'm doing o.k. I look forward to getting up and being with my babies, but there are some times that I dread. The days I have both home with me and I know Dave will be out for the evening are long and I don't enjoy that, but I get through it. Caleb is warming up to Amberly all the time, he actually gave her a kiss today, and then he gave me one right on the lips, he's my sweetie. Granted, he has smacked Amberly as well, on her precious head. Both are sleeping right now, and I'm hoping to catch some sleep myself. I've managed to get Amberly on a schedule, where she eats every 7-11-3, she's doing well at it, and now I can be a little more organized and prepared for things with Caleb and going places. I don't enjoy the 3am feeding, she takes her dear time then and usually won't burp, so I get frustrated, but she has always gone back to sleep without an issue.
Our move is only a month away. It's freaking me out. I enjoy driving past the house each day to see the progress, yesterday they started laying the brick. The doors are all on now, so we can't walk through anymore, but we did peak in the front door to see that they have laid our floor tile. I'm still a little nervous, hoping that everything we chose will flow well together.
Ahhh, I can't keep my eyes open so that means I need sleep!

Two & a Half Weeks Have Gone By
I'm doing o.k. I'm still emotional, and I can easily find a reason to cry. But things are so much better than the first week. My body feels good. I'm still terrified about the whole incision and the idea of having stitches inside of me, but when I don't think about it, I'm o.k. I can get around more and I have more energy. I'm not taking the pain killers like before either. There are periods throughout the day when I feel like I need something, but other than that it's all good. With these hots days and periods of sunshine, I wish I could go swimming. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that or not?
Amberly is wonderful. Last week I was getting really nervous and scared that she was going to become colicky. There were a few days where I felt like I had to hold her all day and comfort her. But then I tried a few different things, and swaddling seems to work the best. She's been great at night too, sleeping stretches of 4-5 hours at a time. She is becoming more alert and she's even making happy noises when she's awake.
My 30th Birthday was yesterday. I was kind of sad for the whole day. Mostly because I was home all alone. Dave worked half a day and then he took Caleb away for the weekend for church camping. I encouraged him to go, but when it came time for them to leave, I was beside myself. I hate being home alone, and to be home alone with a newborn, I don't know it just wasn't how I wanted to spend my birthday. My good friend Valerie came over last night to spend time with me, which was great, I was able to stop crying! And we watched 27 Dresses and it was a good laugh.
Today I haven't done much at all. Just watched a couple of movies on the tv. It's too hot to go outside! Amberly is being a bit fussy, but I've gotten some great shots of her. Here are a couple of the ones I most like.

This last one here she's wearing the adorable sun dress my Aunt bought her. She's my new cabbage patch dolly! Ahhhh isn't she just so cute, lots of smooching goes on here!

July 3rd
Well, as most of you have heard, I had a beautiful baby girl on July 3rd. You will all laugh at the beginning of labour for me. As you may have noticed I posted that Huggies commercial on July 3rd. Well my water broke because of that, seriously. I was laughing so much about it, and then all of a sudden, I stood up and there was that odd sensation and then, ooppps, my water broke! I first I managed to get upstairs and called Dave. Then I called my parents and told them it was time. This was all about 2:10pm in the afternoon. I started to get really nervous. I finished getting things for my hospital bag and Dave got home in good time. We called Christa (Caleb's sitter) and then we called Fern to ask her to pick Caleb up from Christa's and take him home where my parents would be waiting for him.
We got in the hospital at 3:15pm, at this point I was getting contractions about 6 mins apart. There was thick meconium in the water again (like with Caleb), so in triage, they hooked me up to the monitor and then the nurse came in to check me to see how dilated I was. It was then where she discovered that the cord was down around the face of the baby. It was at that point panic set in and I was terrified. No one told me what was going on, I just know that little triage room was loaded with nurses giving me needles, taking off all my clothes and jewelery, putting oxygen on me and all the while the first nurse still had her hand up in me. It was not fun to say the least. She rode on the bed with me, on me, and in me. She was holding the baby's head up. It wasn't until I read O.R. on the door of the room they wheeled me in that I knew I was going to have a c-section. It was terrifying. They rolled me on my side and tried to give me a spinal, which was so painful and scary, after some time, the man gave up and looked me in the eye and said, "I'm going to put you to sleep" At that point I was o.k. with that. She was born at 4:09pm. I was in the hospital less than an hour before Amberly entered the world. Dave wasn't able to see either. I just remember coming to and a nurse was in my face saying, "you have a beautiful baby girl" I was so confused. I didn't know where I was really. Then I got into the recovery room and saw Dave sitting in the corner holding a pink bundle. I had to ask about her, her weight, what she looked like and if she was perfect, because she was so wrapped up I couldn't see her. She only weighed 6lbs. 11oz and was 19&3/4 inches long. Her size alone was another shocking thing for me. Almost half of what Caleb was!
Now I was in the hospital for 3 days. I didn't enjoy it, and recovery really sucks. I'm an emotional wreck, I feel completely overwhelmed and scared and sad, I feel guilty when it comes to Caleb, I really missed him. When I got home he didn't want to have anything to do with me, and I was so heartbroken. Last night he finally cuddled with me while watching his tv show and I just sat there crying. Even now, typing this out makes me emotional. Life is going to be tough for the next few weeks. I can't lift Caleb, nothing more than Amberly they tell me. Not only is life hard for me, but it is for Dave too, I'm completely relying on him. He has this week off which is wonderful.
Anyway, I don't know what else to share with you all for now. Once I have more time, I'll post pictures. I think she looks like Caleb at birth. But I have a baby girl. Who would have thought!

The Hair Cut
Caleb got his first hair cut on Saturday June 28th. Christa did it in her home. He did surprisingly well. I asked her not to cut it too short because I want him to still look like my little baby. So here is the before and after shots. I didn't get too many because I had to hold him while she cut his hair.

90 Years old
That is how I feel. I feel so old, I can't roll over in bed without aches and pain, I can't lay still without being uncomfortable. Walking has slowed down to what seems a crawl. It's pathetic. Within this last week I feel like this baby has taken over my body literally. I can't eat much without being uncomfortable, I feel like I'm getting stretch pains on my stomach when I roll over, heartburn isn't just at night anymore, it's all the time. Needless to say I'm getting really nervous about the size of this little one. I see the doctor tomorrow so I will tell him my concerns and see what he has to say. A part of me wants to say, lets get this baby out, but then there is a part of me that wants it happen naturally. I'm nervous about the pending labour, and I'm nervous about what happens to my body after birth and all the gear I need just to go pee. Plus there is just so much happening in life right now, I'm not sure now is the right time to have this baby, if it's another week, I think that may be better. BUT can I physically take this for another week? I don't know.
Tomorrow we are picking up our new van. That's right. We traded in Dave's truck for a minivan. It's really sad. But for practical needs, we gave in. Gas alone for the truck was ridiculous. So we got a 2008 Grand Caravan, it's the same colour as the truck, and has neat accessories. Neither of us really love the idea of having a van, but we're warming up to it now. We have too! ha ha ha.
Our house is coming along. Yesterday it appeared that the framing of the roof was going up.
My mom is in the hospital. I mean, what else can possibly happen to me right now? She was having chest pains over the weekend, and she went to emerg. on Sunday and they kept her. The one set of tests seemed to indicate a mild heart attack, but all the other tests were normal. They are sending her for an angiogram to be on the safe side because of her family history. Man, she's not supposed to be in the hospital, I'm supposed to be! Hence another reason why this baby would be better off coming next week. Our plan is to have my mom come when labour begins so she can stay with Caleb for as long as we need her. Plus she's supposed to stay with us when we bring the baby home just to help me emotionally! ha ha ha. So this all better pass soon!
Anyway, Caleb is at the babysitters still. We are keeping him in until the baby comes, just so I can rest throughout the day, he's such a busy little guy! He's just so darn adorable. Yesterday I went to Toys R Us and bought him a few things that we can give to him when the baby comes. I wasn't going to, because I don't think he will understand, but lots of people said they did it, so why not, I still take any opportunity to spoil him!
Last Wednesday was my last day of work. My good friend Valerie brought her corvette to work so she could take me out in it. It was awesome! I laughed when I opened the door, I said "o.k. I can get in that, but getting out might be an issue!" You ride so low to the ground! Work had a big party that day, and treated the whole staff to a play at the St. Jacobs Playhouse. We had so much food. I brought in donuts as a treat for my last day, then the company provided lots of treats and then Val and my department brought in cakes for me! They gave me a nice card and a present for Caleb too. It was really special. I'm going to miss being there, I love the people I work with, already I feel like I'm missing out on the conversations. But such is life.
Well, I think I'm going to whip up a cheesecake for dessert tonight, then I really feel like having cookies, so I may run to IGA for some of their store made ones, they are so yummy! We'll see!

In the End.
4 more days to go, then I'm finished with work. I'm going to use my holiday time up before this baby decides to arrive. I was hoping things would slow down a bit for me, but so far, I'm still on the go. This past weekend was not such a great one. I feel a bit sad for my husband because I think I didn't make it enjoyable for him. He had planned a camping trip with Kris a couple of months ago, for both our families to hang out. We went to Kincardine. We had borrowed Mert and Fern's trailer, which was nice, but at the same time, this past weekend's weather was not suitable for an 8mth pregnant woman. Plus the matress I had was pitiful and I sat awake for most of the night Friday night longing for my own bed. As soon as we arrived there on Friday I was longing for Sunday to come so I could just go home. It was not relaxing one bit, especially with Caleb who was on the go constantly. Atleast he had a blast. The benefit of that was he slept wonders for us! But everything seemed wrong with me. My feet are now the size of elephant feet. My hips ached, I swear, I now know what an 80 year old feels like. Saturday we took the kids to the beach. Caleb was unsure about it at first, I think because the sound of the waves were pretty loud. But he finally inched his way into it and was enjoying himself, so much so, that when it came time for us to leave, he had a melt down. I've included some pictures that we took.
You can just see the joy in his face. He loved just being free and able to go where he wanted. Plus he really enjoyed following Mason around. Below is our trailer we had. It was nice, and yes it did have air conditioning. However, even with that luxury, I still had a rough time with the heat!
Here is a cute one of Caleb and Miss Jaden enjoying a little dip in the kiddie pool we brought. It was shortly after this photo when Caleb had an explosive diaper. Little does he know that this kind of thing does not impress the ladies!
This coming weekend we finally don't have much on the go. I think I can finally relax on Saturday and just do minor things. Hmmm, like I should finally get a few plants to put in our front garden, since the weeds aren't so pretty! Plus, again, I need to start thinking about this little baby. I need to go and find a new bottle system, since we returned all of our Avent stuff. And I need to find Father's Day stuff for not only my Daddy, but for Dave and Mert too!
Our house is making progress, last week there was a hole, and now there's a foundation and stuff, it's pretty exciting to see the progress of it.
Dave is at the Toronto Blue Jay game tonight, so it was just me and Caleb. We had a good night together, we went to the park for a good hour and then he had a nice long, luke warm bath, we snuggled for 1/2 an hour and then he went right to sleep for me. Now I'm here catching up on things and sorting through other stuff.

Rested
Well, it's been awhile since my last post. But things have just been nutty here. The biggest news is we sold the house! It was an amazing answer to prayer. It got listed on that Friday before the long weekend, and the first showing was on a the following Tuesday night. Then we had 2 showings on Wednesday night. That night I went out with my friends for a movie night. We watched What Happens In Vegas. When I got home, Dave told me that we sold the house! Just like that! The one couple came, saw it, gave us full asking price without any conditions! Sold in Five Days, is what was printed in the paper! So the big day will be August 28th. The way Dave put it to our agent, "In six weeks we'll have a newborn, and then six weeks after that, we'll move." Since that all happened we've been meeting with the bank, and seeing our agent, we've already had to pick out everything for the new house, the blue prints were finalized on Tuesday and plans sent to the township, so we think next week will be the start of the build. Man, it's been a whirlwind. I just got finished meeting with a moving company. Because the possession date is a Thrusday, and they get our house the same day, we think we'll need an agency to move us. It sounds so silly because we're just moving down the street. But we can't very well ask all of our friends to take the day off to help us move. So now we're just waiting and praying that all will go well with the build and that the moving day will go off without a hitch.
Last weekend was the auction at my parents place. It was so odd seeing lots of people at the farm and watching things we've had for years be sold. Norma came and watched for a bit with me which was so nice. It was a successful auction, and it was a beautiful day too. Here are a few shots of the day events!

For Sale
Well, it's official, there's a sign on the front lawn. It all happened on Friday. I'm overwhelmed. We aren't totally ready for the house to be shown yet. There's still some touch up to do and cleaning. Because I get easily tired out, I'm not much help. Dave went away with the guys this weekend, but comes home tonight, so we'll be busy! Our agent was over on Friday to talk numbers with us about our new place, and she was eager to get ours on the market. There's another house for sale down the street on the opposite side, so she wanted to compete with it since ours is better all around considering the greenspace and size of our place. I'm praying with all my heart that we'll sell quick, so I don't have to worry about this anymore and I can then take these last few weeks to concentrate on this baby.
Yesterday I spent the day at my parents. They are getting ready for the big auction sale for next Saturday. Today I'm skipping out on church to go grocery shopping with Caleb as well as birthday present shopping. Tomorrow I'm having both my family and Dave's over to have an early celebration of Dave's 30th birthday. Let's hope our house stays clean, because it sounds like we'll have our first showing on Tuesday night.
Caleb is still my happy boy and makes me smile and love him constantly. He's just so amazing! Not sure how we can top him! ha ha ha! That's what Dave keeps saying, but I just know that this new little one inside will be pretty darn amazing too! We just need to figure out names we like (that's right we have no idea what we'll name this one!)
Anyway, I'll keep you posted!

Getting the better of me
Well, it's pretty much official now. We're going to list the house next week sometime (depending on when we accomplish getting everything cleaned and presentable). I've got huge mixed emotions over this all, because again, I feel like I've been conquered and that I've lost at this game. I know that this is or should be an exciting time, but I'm too overwhelmed and exhausted and I feel pretty down in the dumps. We've met with a builder and we're getting plans drawn up for what we want in a house, and we've made a deposit on a lot that we like. Literally, we're going to be moving down the street. Same side and everything. But it's a bigger lot, and a better quality builder. I'm excited because starting from scratch is really neat, we get to put in the house everything we want, but I mostly see the downfalls for things. Like, because we're building, we won't be moving until atleast September, which means I have to go through the summer with these really crappy neighbours. We're so wrapped up in getting the house ready for sale, that I haven't had time to think about this poor little baby. We don't even have names picked out yet. Only 8 weeks to go. If that! My body has been rejecting itself, so I keep praying that this little one will hang in there!
Oh I will have to "post" more later, as it's way past my bedtime......

Rough Week
Well this week has been pretty rough on me. I'm blaming hormones right now, but when things were bad, I didn't think I was over reacting. Story starts EARLY Sunday morning. At 3am I heard the neighbours music turn on. At that time, it wasn't so bad, I was able to turn on our air filter and forget about it. But at 5am, it was cranked up so loud that it was ridiculous. So I called the police. After doing that I regreted it because it wasn't even 5 minutes after the call when then music went back down again. I layed awake debating if I should call them back and tell them not to bother. I decided to just let it be, if they show up, and it's quiet they will just leave again. I didn't get back to sleep much because Caleb was then up at 6am. This is unusual for him as he normally doesn't wake until 7am. So at 6:30am I got up with him and we cuddled on the couch while I watched t.v. Dave got up at 7, so I went back to bed in hopes for some sleep. Well this did not happen. The music came on again, this time it was the loudest I have ever heard it. I knew that they were playing Tom Petty, and in fact I could hear them shouting along to it! I was so furious! But I just got back up and figured I would start my day. I showered and got dressed and it was still going!
Dave left for Sunday school and I took Caleb for a walk around the block. When I got back, nothing had changed. So I went to their door and rang and banged 3 times, and no one answered. I could still hear them inside. I was so mad I almost had tears. I put Caleb down for a nap and thankfully with the noise of his lullaby music, he was able to fall asleep. But I called the police again, and they told me there was nothing they would do at that point because of the time of day, and that I would have to take it to the bylaw officer. I politely said thanks, and hung up. Then I just sat on the bottom step and cried my eyes out. What else could I possibly do, bylaw officers are government employees who don't work on weekends. When Dave got home I then ran to church since I was on nursery duty. It was at this time I started feeling pelvic pain but I didn't say anything. I knew that the stress was causing this and that I needed to just relax. Being away from the situation helped. But once I returned home I was over come with emotion. Dave said that they shut it down at 11-11:30am finally. I kept thinking how much I really hated them. I have never felt this way about anyone, and yet I was so wrapped up in my anger that I kept telling myself how much I hated them. In my tears I told Dave that I can't do this anymore, that we need to do something about this, and that I wanted to move.
On Monday Dave filed a complaint to the township, and I gathered sympathy at work. However one lady told me she knew how I felt, but the amount of times she filed complaints, she's never seen results. After hearing things like that, I again told Dave that we needed to move. So this whole week, it's been on our minds, we've been looking on mls every day, and Dave has contacted 2 real estate agents and the bank, and we'll start taking little steps. Heck, we even walked through a house on Monday night, one that will be privately sold. It was beautiful, but not what we needed.
I feel pretty weak. I mean, I feel like I've been conquered and beaten down, or like the loser who is walking away from a challenge. But I don't know what else to do. It's not even the summer yet, and I'm too scared to think of what life will be like with more mornings like Sunday ahead of me.
This has been on my mind this whole week. The idea of moving is pretty stressful, but the idea of going through this again with the neighbours is just as stressful, so if I had to choose which was better, I choose the move. I don't know what will come of it, maybe with time, our anger will rub off, until we encounter this problem again.
Outside of all this touble, Caleb is my joy. He is so adorable, I can't get enough of him. He is my sunshine in the morning, he is always so happy to see me come and get him, we eat our breakfast together, and he spends most of that time chattering away to me and just smiling at me. I love it. He's learning more and more everyday, and although the words aren't flying out of his mouth, he's able to communicate what he wants. If he wants to go out, he grabs his shoes or boots and brings them to us and grunts! I love it!
Yesterday Dave and I celebrated our 4th anniversary. It was nice, Dave sent me some lovely flowers. Today we both have off, so he took me to WildCraft, a newer restaurant in Waterloo, and it was really nice. We even went shopping. I broke down and returned all my Avent bottle stuff to Zellers. They are refunding full price for everything. So we got a store credit and did some shopping. Sad thing is for me, is the alternatives to baby bottles are either a)not suitable and pulled off the shelves or b) all sold out despite the crazy price! I am going to try the breastfeeding again with this little one, but not full on, call me selfish, but I don't want to be their only provider in the food department. So again, I don't know what we'll do. But I will try and figure something out.

Hmmm Hot Weather? Not so sure.....
Well my husband and son are totally loving this weather, but I don't know if I am so much. I'm already a heater, but the last few days I've also turned into a humidifier, I'm both hot and wet!! ha ha ha. Love the basement!
Here are a few shots of the past week. First one is at the park down the street from us. Caleb loves it here. The rest are taken at my parents on Saturday. Caleb again had a blast with the freedom to roam and play.

Trying out Benji's new game Bol-a-ball, Caleb is hanging with the guys.
Here is where he was caught cheating!
Brooke then joined in the action.

Lovely Warm Air
Well it's been a while. Not as long as Deb though! he he he. Life seems to keep going on, fast and slow but it's going. I guess over all it's fast. I don't know where the time ends up going.
April so far has been looking promising. The weather is wonderful currently. This past weekend was the Maple Syrup Festival in Elmira, and it was a nut house. People are just crazy! I went down with my Dad and sister, and I just can't get over how many people were there. Even my brother took his family for the morning! There was so many people that I couldn't even take in everything that was there. But I did get my apple fritters which are so so yummy. I always thought an apple fritter was just a donut until I moved here. In fact they are an apple ring deep fried in batter and served with maple syrup on it. Oh so yummy.
Funny story now....Yesterday Dave and I went out for some lunch and just hanging out with Caleb. We wandered the mall, had A&W for lunch and then went to DQ for blizzards. We also went to Future Shop and we purchased Rock Band for the xbox. We didn't bother setting it up until after Caleb went to bed last night. Well, it is so much fun! First Dave and I both tried out the drums, then I told him that I would try out the microphone. It took awhile for Dave to get it working. But finally he did, and he was going to play guitar. I somehow managed to miss what song he was selecting until I noticed the screen was saying "Loading" and some fact about the Rolling Stones came up. I freaked on Dave and asked him why he chose Rolling Stones, afterall how am I supposed to sing the song if I have never heard it before (which I didn't know this one at all!) he just told me I had to read the words. So I did my best, fudging through the lyrics. Then I realized that I kept getting perfects which made me start laughing because the screen was showing that the microphone (me) was high on the scale while the guitar (Dave) was way low. So I started laughing uncontrolably, but what put me over the edge was I turned and looked at my husband and he was standing and had his very serious face on. I lost it. I have a weak bladder o.k.! So I wet my pants. Yes, I ran for the bathroom, but didn't quite make it! Hope that makes you smile!
I'm at home with a quiet evening to myself. I picked Caleb up from Christa's then took him to Fern and Mert's so I could run back to work to attend a bridal shower. I got home at 6pm and Dave shortly arrived afterwards with Caleb, they had supper at the in-laws. Now Caleb is in bed and Dave is at a meeting.
Not much else is new. This past Friday was my first Friday off. (I'm taking all Friday's off now until this little one arrives). It wasn't so eventful, I took Caleb to Christa's for the day still while I went and had some blood work done and some running around. It was nice to just relax for a little while too. I think I'll still take Caleb to Christa's on Fridays for now, and see how I do at resting. At the same time I spent a lot of my time on Friday wondering what he was doing and missing him. So I don't know. We'll see!

So Quiet Tonight
Well I thought it was going to be a long day today. At work the time dragged on. Then Dave wasn't going to be coming home tonight because he's going to Toronto with a co-worker to meet a client or something and have dinner and see the Leaf's hockey game. So, I thought that would make for an extra long day, because with just me and Caleb I get pooped fast. But he was a very good boy and we had fun together. But our satelite is out, I was so frustrated about that, because now I can't watch my shows. I called Bell and they said that a lot of Ontario has no signal because of the stinkin weather! Grrrr. Oh well. I went and shovelled the drive, which I probably shouldn't have done, but I did anyway. I'll pay for it through the night I'm sure.
Easter weekend was so wonderful. Friday we went to Orangeville. We first went to the Good Friday service at OBC which is always fantastic. Then we went to my parent's place. After lunch I ran up to the Moores and visited with Lesya for awhile. Ahhh I miss her, we had some good laughs and caught up on things. She's doing well. Then back at my parents we had a nice dinner and after that we headed home. We didn't do much on Saturday. We started moving things around for Caleb's new room. I wanted to load some pictures up tonight to post, but because Dave has moved this computer I can't find the cord for the camera. Oh well. Sunday we went to Mike and Joy's church and then spent the day at Dave's parents place. It was a quiet afternoon. But the weekend just went by way too fast.
Tomorrow I have a doctor's appt. I'm at 25 weeks, so I think I will be sent for blood work now. I have noticed that this past week my belly has just popped. I look down and it's all I can see. I don't remember popping like this with Caleb, but this time around my muscles are weak I suppose. Caleb's 15mth appointment last week went well. He's at 27 lbs, and 83.5 cm's tall. The Dr. said that he is now average for weight, but still off the chart in height, I did the conversion and he's about 3 feet tall! Crazy! Some people say you can guess the height of your child fully grown by doubling their height at age 2. If that's the case, he's going to be 6 feet tall!
Anyway, I think I'll go and do some reading now. When Davey is home tomorrow, I'll get him to find the camera cord, I have some pretty good pictures from the past week!
