Christmas 2007

Our Christmas was good except a few major things! Caleb sustained a 2nd degree burn on his left hand on Christmas eve. He decided to touch my parents fireplace. It happened around noon that day, so thank goodness we were able to get in to see our doctor as opposed to having to go to emerg. She couldn’t do much for him, cream and dressings were not an option since he would either lick or tear off anything. So she prescribed codeine for him, which we gave to him that night. He was a trooper and still is. It really ballooned up in blisters, which they slowly oozed, and yet he still managed to crawl around on his hand. Never gave him anymore codeine because on Christmas day he broke out in a huge rash. So he was fine with just Tylenol. We still give him that because now that it’s drying up and such, I think it bothers him. We were back to the doctors on Thursday and she said that it doesn’t look so terrible and assured us that she has seen much worse and usually on both hands. We have to go again next week so she can make sure that it will heal properly with not much scars. Ahhhh, it has been an exhausting Christmas! I dont' think there is any thing worse in this world than to see your child suffer.

Other than this, it was a good Christmas. Everyone was spoiled, we have so many toys for Caleb, I don't even know where to begin to put them! Dave and I have been off this week, and it's been nice to just relax with him and Caleb, we haven't done that in a long time. We've had breakfast out with friends, and I even tried a new casserole and invited some friends over to try it. Tomorrow, Dave and I are going to have a date. After church we're going to leave Caleb with his parents and enjoy a late lunch and then go to the movies. I think we're going to see National Treasure #2. We purchased Harry Potter the other day and I think we're going to watch that tonight.

I'm sad for this week to be over. It means I have to go back to work and this time, there isn't a week holiday in sight. That makes it difficult to leave Caleb all over again. But I have to deal with it, suck it up!

We don't have many plans to ring in the new year this time around. I'm fine with this. New Years is over rated I think! I'll ring it in probably at 9pm and then go to bed! Life of an old lady I guess!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, (less scary than mine anyway!)

Santa Claus

Here's the little guy, meeting Santa for the first time. This Santa was at the Eaton Centre. It was cute seeing Caleb look at him, he liked his beard.

The storm they are all talking about is sad. I normally would love a big snow storm, usually I say, bring it on! But tomorrow is the big party day for Caleb. It won't be the same if my family can't make it. So I'm hoping that they are all wrong about the storm and that it really "blows over" so we miss it!

I Made it Through The First Week

It totally was not easy! My days were long and I was really tired by the time I got Caleb in bed after a day. I think I'm neither a morning or a night person anymore. I never was a morning person, so getting up at 6:30am and rushing around getting myself ready and then Caleb, wears me out. But now when 8pm rolls around I'm grumbly and ready for bed! So most nights I was in bed by 9pm. But that's reasonable. As for the emotional side of things...it is very difficult. Monday wasn't so bad, but Tuesday was rough and Wednesday even harder. Thursday was o.k. because the end was in sight. Plus things weren't working out as I had thought in the workwise. My boss originally told me that I wouldn't have to start right into things, that she had a special project for me to do that I would work on for December. Well it turns out it's not as big as she thought and it will only take me a few days to do. So I was handed a folder of my normal work load which dated back to October! That was depressing. And it wasn't easy stuff, alot of it was crap that didn't get done because there was more worked involved! Ack! But on the good side of things, Caleb loves his sitter. She just is amazed at how well he does, even when it comes to naps, she puts him down and he's out, she loves that! He'll eat anything and try anything, which makes it easier too. Plus he loves watching the other kids and playing with their dog. So I'm so happy for that. She even sent us home with an event calendar with theme days and activity days so we know what he'll be up to. Tomorrow is Favourite Book Day, so we're sending him with "Crazy Caterpillers" one he currently loves looking at.
Plus my coworkers are thrilled to have me back. We've done lots of catch up and lots of laughing, so that's good.
This week is a crazy busy one! Caleb is turning one on Thursday! But that's my work party, so I won't get to see him much, but we're having his big bash on Sunday. Ahhh, so I have to get everything prepared for that, on top of work and everything, it's really tough! I have Friday off, but we're heading to O'ville for Caleb's dr. appt. and we'll stay for the day to see the family.
Anyway, I have a gut feeling that tomorrow is really going to be hard. So please pray for me...

Less Than 12 Hours

I don't know if any of you have experienced this feeling before. I feel like it's the night before the first day of school. I never liked school, so I always dreaded having to go back. I would get this anxious feeling down in my gut that just wasn't good. Well that's what I'm feeling now, but it's not about school obviously, it's about work. I have to start bright and early tomorrow at 7:30am. I guess it's not as bad as it was when I was younger, but it's just sad to think that my time as being a stay at home mom is over.

This past week I kept thinking about it all, and I tried to make the most of my few days. Dave took Thursday and Friday off, so Wednesday night we headed to Toronto and spent a couple of nights there and shopped. It was nice to get out and do stuff like that. I don't really like the city. This time, while walking to the Eaton Centre, a homeless man started walking with us, he kept looking at Caleb. Then he started to offer me a loonie and told me to get him so milk. I turned him down, and he just kept presisting. I didn't know how to get rid of him, so I ended up saying that he needed it more than we do. I guess it wasn't the most polite thing to say, and he ended up saying to me in an angry voice "you think you know my pocket troubles do you??" All I could do was apoligize. Toronto is definately a step out of my comfort zone, and I find myself clutching all my belongings much closer while I'm there.

We got a lot of shopping done. Caleb even got to sit on Santa's lap. He was a good boy and actually smiled for the photo. Yesterday was my work Christmas party for the kids. It was our first time going. It was a very simple party, Caleb didn't have much to do, we just waited for Santa and he got his present. He got a winnie the pooh phone and a bath toy. Then I didn't do much for the remaining part of the weekend. Last night Dave and I watched Transformers. It actually made me laugh out loud, probably wasn't supposed to be funny, but the whole time, I kept thinking "who knew this was going to be a comedy!"

I think I might go to bed early tonight. I have to get up earlier than I'm used to, and I'm a little afraid of how things will go, so hopefully sleeping on it will make things better. Sweet dreams, please!

Caleb's Daycare Trial Day

Dave worked from home today so he could come along with us to Caleb's daycare and meet Christa, the lady who will be taking care of our little. We went for 11am, and we got him in and put him down, he was a little unsure of things, but with the dog around, he was very curious. So we left him there, after he went gladly in Christa's arms. As I was getting into the truck, Dave says "Ahhh he thinks she's his new mom, how does that make you feel?" Grrrr, I told him that was a very mean thing to say! While Caleb was there, I got to cleaning the house and moving things around to make way for the Christmas tree which I hope to put up tomorrow.

We then went back at 1:00 to pick Caleb up, we went in and chatted to see how things went. Well, he made art! She got paint out and he put it on his hands and made us a picture! I was so thrilled! Then he had 1/2 a turkey sandwich, some fruit, cheese and yogurt for lunch. A big boy lunch! She read him stories which he loves, and that was it. He was so happy when we got there, he was happy to see us, but he was having a blast with all the new and different toys. So I'm releaved that everything went so well. I just hope that when it comes time for me to pick him up, he won't be sad to leave there!

Tomorrow night, we're heading to Toronto for a couple of days. We're going to shop at the Eaton Centre for Christmas, and try to get Caleb with Santa! It should be lots of fun. Saturday we are taking Caleb to my work's Kid's Christmas party, that should be fun too!

My Baby is Becoming a Little Boy

Caleb is 11 Month's quickly becoming 1 year old! I can't believe it. Where has this year gone? I know I keep saying this, but it's because I keep thinking about it! I have a variety of pictures to mark his 11 months. Today, in the snow, I took him out to check it out, and I got some great shots.

I'm trying to make the most out of my few days left I have with him. And cherish the moments, even the ones that drive me crazy sometimes!
Well he's finally sleeping for his morning nap, which means I need to take advantage of this time and get myself showered!

3 weeks and counting

That's right. I only have 3 weeks left of my maternity leave, then I'm heading back to work. I'm feeling a little sad about this. But at the same time, I know it will be good for me, and December will probably fly by fast, I'm only working 4 days a week in Dec. and on top of that, there's Christmas parties and lunches to attend, it will be fine.

I'm sad because I know how much I'm going to miss my baby. I'm sad that I won't know what he will be doing all the time. I might miss his first steps. But I don't want to dwell on this. It won't be for forever.

Last week was fun. On Wednesday I went to my parents place and stayed over night. Them my parents came with me and Caleb to the Royal Winter Fair. It was nice to go, not sure if me expectations were met, but Caleb did so good at being stuck in the stroller for the day. He did get a kick out of the animals, so that was good.

Christmas shopping is well underway. We have several people knocked off our list already and we only have a few left to shop for. My only issue is finding something for Dave. I have a problem because I want to make everything meaningful. Then I get stuck trying to think of that one super special gift, and I run out of time! Hopefully I will be able to pull off something great!

I wasted a good 2 hours and 13 minutes of my life watching Knocked Up. Who makes a stupid, vulgar comedy that long anyway?? Then later on Dave and I watched Spiderman 3. That was alright.

This coming week I'm going to be stressed out! This weekend is such a busy one. Friday night we have a couple coming over for dessert, then Saturday I'm hosting my mom's 60th b-day party and then on Sunday we have some people coming over for lunch. Yikes, I'll be tired come Monday!

Well we're off to Starfish this morning. Caleb just loves it. He splashes the whole time. Last week him and Cara were splashing eachother, it was so funny!

Oh So Tired.

I don't even know where I left off. And I don't even really feel like typing, I just feel tired. But it's nice and easy when the computer sits right on your lap. Almost 4 weeks left until returning to work. I don't like thinking about this. Christmas is only 7 weeks away, I like thinking about that. Shoot me if you dare, but I'm wishing for a white Christmas. We'll see if God comes through on that one.

I've been to the movies lots! I've seen The Heartbreak Kid, We Own the Night AND Dan In Real Life. I liked all three, but I especially liked Dan in Real Life. Wow, that was 3 movies in a week! I had coupons I wanted to use up!

Last night was Halloween fun! Caleb was a cute Skunk. He was so absolutely adorable. We went Trick or treating with Christa, Steve and Cara. Cara was a kangaroo, very sweet she was! They were a hit. Dave stayed home to hand out candy and he kept a tally of visitors, and we had almost 75. I thought we would have had more. Oh well.

Tuesday night I had a tupperware party to attend. It was a "been there, done that" kind of experience, but it was fun. After I got home, Dave and I carved our pumpkin and we even roasted the seeds. It was good times!

Now Caleb was crawling around naked, I need to go and put his p.j.'s on.

Hold On

Ahhh, to sleep he is. He's such a cutie. I have decided that he says a few things. For sure his first words are "All Done" he says it like "ahhl da" and he says Dad, and Hi Dad. No da da, or daddy, just Dad. It's so sweet.

Anyway, I think I shall go now. I will post Caleb's halloween shots soon.

What Would you Do?

So we had a terrible Saturday night. Our neighbour was playing their music outrageously loud. So at 3:30am, I got fed up and I called the police. In about 15 minutes the music shut off, so I went to the window to see, and sure enough there was 2 police cars parked in the street. Well, the cops weren't even gone when the music came up really loud again! So I took my stuff and moved to the basement to sleep. Well Dave ended up calling the police back at 5am, and reported them again, they said the first time, they just gave them a warning. But then at 6am the music finally shut off, but we later found out that the police didn't come back until 6:30am, when it was quiet. I was in tears I was so angry! The first time I decided to call the cops, nothing happened, we still had a sleepless night! I was all ready to move! Next time this happens, we will be calling every 1/2 hour until something is done, or charges laid. This is our home and I don't care what our stupid neighbour thinks of us! What would you guys do??

Anyway, on a happier note, Friday night girls night was fun. It was good to catch up with everyone. Then Satuday afternoon Dave and I took Caleb to a pumpkin patch. It was so neat. We got a few great shots.

Then Sunday Dave and I left Caleb with Dave's parents while we went to Stratford for the day. We went and saw An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde, it was very funny! We parked along the river and walked to the theatre and then after the play we walked downtown to find a restaurant. We ate at Pazzo, it was a pizzeria and it was very yummy! Then we strolled back along the river to the car. We even stopped at Dairy Queen on our way home. It was a very lovely day to spend with my husband. Now it's Monday and things are back to normal! After I'm done this, I'll, be getting ready for a swim with Caleb. And since the weather is so lovely out I'll probably take Caleb to the park after lunch, or after dinner, we'll see how swimming goes, he's not napping right now, so we'll see how the afternoon goes! Tomorrow night I'm going to meet my friend Valerie and go to the movies. I'm really looking forward to that as well!

Ten Months, Ninth Tooth

My little baby is 10 months old! He is getting to be quite the handful. He makes me laugh because his new hobby is trying to lick the t.v. screen, and I always say, "No Caleb, Don't touch." and he laughs everytime I pull him away. And then he bolts back to it. My goal is to be persistant, because I know that he'll eventually know not to touch it. Boy, Persistance is hard work!

Today I was at my parents place and took Caleb's "10 month" pictures. I tried taking them on Saturday, but he was so snotty and drooly, that they didn't quite work. This past Friday was very difficult. He cried all morning, and it was a differnt cry, it was a cry of pain. I rocked him and cried with him, I had no idea how to make him feel better. Christa came by with her ear termometer and thank goodness he didn't have a fever. But it still didn't solve anything. Then talking to Shannon, she suggested teeth. I completely forgot about teeth as an issue, because he already has 8. But I gave him tylenol, and he finally settled down to normal by late afternoon. It wasn't until yesterday that I was able to catch a glimpse of tooth #9 poking through. Poor guy!

Here's a couple of pictures of my handsome baby. Ahhh he's just so adorable!

This last one is especially one of my favourites, the whole drool, snot and tongue view! I take just way too many pictures, then I sit at the computer going through them constantly, over and over again, trying to figure out which ones I want to get developed, which ones I should blow up, and yikes, I end up developing way too many! I love my pictures!

baby it's cold outside

Now this is the type of fall weather I'm talking about. This past weekend was way too hot! Despite the humid temperature we had a great weekend. On Friday night we had Dave's co-worker Rob and his family over for dinner. It was a lot of fun. Then Saturday morning we packed up and headed to my parents. While there Dave and I managed to explore the bush where I used to play as a child. It was so over grown that we couldn't go the way that was once my path. It was neat to check out the water hole with him. Then my parents looked after Caleb while we had a date. We went into Orangeville and watched the movie The Kingdom. It was really good. Typical for me, I cried in it. Not so much because of the story, but because of fear. I caught a glimpse of how life can be for some countries and I worried about the future, and what it holds for our children. Anyway, it was nice to just have a date night out, and Dave held my hand! he he he.

Sunday we took Caleb and my mom to Hockley Bible Chapel for church. It was so great to see everyone. Caleb was the only baby there (doesn't appear to have young families there) so as I was leaving to take Caleb to the nursery, Pastor Mark recruited Treva to look after him for me. Then his wife Kimberley came and helped Treva look after him! ha ha ha. After church we headed home for the Thanksgiving festivities and we also celebrated my Dad and brother's birthday. We managed to get outdoors again and snap a few (like 200) pictures of us and the fall leaves. Here a just a few....

We returned home that night and on Monday we hiked with Mike and Joy on a 7km trail. It was so hot! Then Mike, Joy, Fern and Mert were over for dinner. Dave and I made chili and homemade garlic bread for dinner, and Mike and Joy brought pumpkin pie and oreo cheesecake. It was very yummy.

Yesterday I resolved my baby sitting issue. I met with the lady, Christa is her name. And she seems so great. I'm so releaved and happy about everything. Actually I think this is for the better, Caleb will have lots of fun and attention there. I'm still really nervous about returning to work, the time seems to be creeping up so fast. But Christmas is on it's way too, and that is something I can look forward to.

Big Sighs

These past 48 hours have been crazy! I've been so busy and emotional, I'm seeing double currently and am suffering with a mild head ache. Today I've been on the go. I got up early, showered, got Caleb up and ready for the day and we were at IGA at 8:05am to get the things we need for tonight and this weekend. Then after Caleb's 35 minute nap, I rushed down to the new park to meet Shannon and the kiddies. There I got to visit with Shannon while pushing Caleb on the swing. Then I rushed back home to get Caleb in the car and on our way to work. I had to stop in today so I could chose Caleb's Christmas present. The company lets us go throught the Home Hardware toy catalogue and pick out a $25 gift for your child. So I got 2 things, a Winnie the Pooh phone and bath toys. While there I was surrounded, my child was the centre of attention for quite a while! Then home again for lunch and I've begun the process of cleaning the house. Caleb is supposed to be napping right now, but I hear him chatting away, probably to his prayer bear. Tonight we are having Dave's co-worker Rob and his family over for dinner. That's a lot of work!

Yesterday I was a wreck. I got a message on the machine in the morning from the lady I had lined up to take Caleb for us in December. She left a message to say that she feels she has too much on her plate and can't take Caleb. I flipped out, I cried, I didn't know what to do. I emailed Dave to tell him, then I emailed Lesa to tell her and to get some help. Lesa had recommended this lady to me, so she felt bad, but she came through with lots of names for me to try. None of them she knew, we were going on recommendations only. I again struggled over this, because I didn't know any of them, plus I hated the thought of calling all these people and being turned down, or finding out they have sooo many kids. I called Shannon and bless her heart she said she would take him if we needed her to. But I called only one lady, the one lady who seemed to have the best reviews, and praise the Lord, she said she can take him. I'm meeting her on Tuesday, and everything she told me sounded perfect, she only has one or two other children (which is perfect, that is what I wanted) and that she likes to spend time with them, doing educational activities, and field trips, spend lots of time outdoors. The money was right, the location is perfect, just down around the corner. So lets hope that Tuesday will be amazing and that I get my sense of peace back!

Well I better start working on the main level cleaning wise. Thanksgiving will be fun. We're heading to my parents for Saturday and Sunday, I'm hoping to go for a hike on the Bruce trail, and I'm looking forward to stuffing!!

This morning was quite the sight. Hockley has started to find Caleb interesting now that he's crawling, I would notice that she would watch him and follow him. But this morning, Caleb started to clue in that she was there. It was so funny because Hockley was getting Caleb to follow her. He was all over the place upstairs, in and out of all the rooms. I could hear him crawling all over the place so I started to watch what was going on. Hockley would run into one room, and Caleb would chase her. Then she would jump over him, and then stop until he was able to turn around and see her, and she would then walk into another room. She did this for a long while, Caleb was huffing and puffing from all that activity! Finally she ended it by jumping up on our bed.

Right now she's sitting on my scrap table while Caleb is in his chair watching einstein. She likes him!

Last night I went out with my friends from work to see 3:10 to Yuma. It was soooo great! I love Russell! Even though it was a "shoot em up" movie, it was so good. It was good to get out and be with the girls again. But man, when it's late, my mind becomes mush! I brought up things more than once, forgetting that I already said that! Then if I had something exciting to share, my words got all jumbled! Jeepers! I feel like I'm an early alzeimers patient! Oh well!

Not much on the go today. Dave is going to his co-workers tonight to watch hockey after work, so it's going to be a long day. I'll have to watch all the shows I taped from last night, Rick Mercer, House, Beauty and the Geek and The Tudors. Tonight it's America's Next Top Model, man, sad isn't it!

Welcome October

I am enjoying this nice fall weather. But life hasn't seemed to slow down, and I guess it probably never will. Well it might when I get back to work and have my slow days! This past week was a full one. Monday we started Starfish lessons again. This time Christa and Cara are taking them with us. The instructor this time around is not good at all. Actually it was scary! She had us dunk the babies right at the very beginning, the other instructor did not do that at all. I will see how this week goes, and if it's the same instructor and she does things the same way, then I will go and complain to the centre. I mean there are 3 month old babies in our class, you don't just dunk them, there should be some kind of explaination on how to and when to. YIKES!

The rest of the week went by so fast, it's just a blur now. I'm really happy about my scrapbooking, I've got lots done. Although last night I sat at the computer and looked at the ones I still need to develope, I think it will be a never ending scrapbooking job at the rate I take pictures! Friday I went to see Amy and Yvonne. It was great seeing them, Amy, thanks for the really yummy pizza! Saturday we had a wedding to go to, it was nice. Fern and Mert babysat. Caleb is keeping us all busy. He's exploring new things. Pulling himself up, I even caught him on the third step going upstairs! What a boy, loves his balls, and toys with wheels! It's fun!

Well another new week. Today we have swimming, then tomorrow night I'm going to the movies with my friends from work. Thursday I might have Benji for the day, other than that I'm sure that I'll be busy!

Polls

I just got a call from the Liberal party wanting to know if they have my vote. Since I've left BookLore, I feel so out of the loop when it comes to political stuff. I try my best to stayed informed, between watching "Harry the Bunny" and my fun shows like America's Next Top Model! I know who I'm voting for, but I like to have reasons behind my choices.

Caleb is all over the place. His favourite room to play in now is the bathroom. He makes a beeline for it when I get him down to play. I think it's because of the bath. He totally loves his bath times, and when the water is running to fill it up, he sits on the mat while I get him ready and undressed. He loves getting in when the water is still filling up, he likes to get his hands in the running water. Boy is he a big splasher, everything gets soaked! Oh I can hear him now, playing with the door stopper. It sounds like he's not sure if he likes it or not. He flings it and then wimpers, it's quite funny to hear! During his morning nap I discovered him sleeping without his soother, but his thumb, as adorable as it looked, I'm not sure if I like him wanting his thumb rather than the soother. Soothers are more disposable when the time comes!

That's him sleeping. Notice the forgotten soother...

This is him looking at me like "Come on Mom, where's the water??"

I've still been scrapbooking away. Some of the pages I do, I don't like so much. I don't know if it's because that day I wasn't creative or what. In the end, I tell myself that atleast it's done, it looks much better as it is, rather than in a photo album.

This past week has been busy. Monday Shannon had her baby. A little girl, named Jaden Keera, weighing 8 lbs 16 oz! She's cute, with chubby cheeks! Tuesday I went to my parents and stay until Wednesday. On Wednesday I went with my mom to Newmarket to shop, I wasn't very successful though. Then Wednesday night I went and met Jaden, ahhh holding a new born can be very dangerous! Yesterday I had Sally and the girls over with her sister Deb and her 2 girls. We had lunch and then wandered around St. Jacobs. I never go there anymore, and I think I should go more often. I found an awesome toy store there called Toy Soup. It's so cool, and has lots of neat things that don't require batteries which is a huge bonus!

Today we're just chilling out at home. Tonight we are going into Waterloo and meeting Steve, Christa and Cara for dessert somewhere, probably East Sides. As for the weekend, we're going to a bbq tomorrow and then I'm taking Caleb with me to my cousin's in O'ville on Sunday after church. She's having a Signature Homes party. Like I've said before, the time goes sooooo fast!

Can't Sleep

It's 6:30am and I couldn't sleep. Although this isn't an unusual time for people to wake, as I'm sure many people this is their morning rise, but for me it's definately not. The morning looks beautful. Right now the sky is very black, like it's going to storm out, and the roof tops are all white from frost.

I couldn't sleep because I have things running through my mind. Yesterday Dave and I talked about moving things around the house to utilize the space we have. In the past we talked about moving, but more and more now I think we have decided to stay where we are. I love this house and we did a lot of work on it. So I just had thoughts of where to move things in the future.

Yesterday I went out with Christa in the morning to check out a new baby store in Waterloo. The Grand Opening was happening and I got Caleb a cute but very cool pair of sunglasses. Babybanz! ha ha ha. They are army colours! I got a free package of diapers too, some Rabbit brand that I've never heard of. Then we went to Michaels craft store, the scrapbook paper was on sale 3 for $1. After I got home, Dave, Caleb and I went to get groceries and look around Futureshop. Man, grocery shopping on a Saturday afternoon.....let's just say I'll never do it again! We bought the X-Files season 1 on dvd. We watched the first 2 episodes after Caleb was in bed!

Today we have church, I have nursery duty. Then we're heading to my parents. Benji is going to Calgary for the week for work, I wish I could go with him, that would be fun. So either Dave or I will run down with my Dad to take Benji to the airport. Then, Sally's sister Deb and her 2 girls are over for a week. So they will be out at my parents for dinner later on tonight.

Oh my neck is pretty stiff. Must have slept on it wrong. Well it's almost 7am, I'm going to crawl back into bed now I think.

9 Months, Too Adorable!

He's GORGEOUS!

He's on the move so much now! Our doctor's visit yesterday was great. She's so happy with him, and he's still growing, his weight gain has slowed down, but he's still growing in height. He's in the 95th percentile for height and now in the 90th for weight, he's still a big guy for his age, but he's perfect!

Fall is Knocking at the Door!

Well I love these cool days, and I can see the colours starting to turn. I love that the warm clothes gets to come out and socks and shoes. But I did realize that I need to go shopping, I need new shoes and jeans and some more up to date shirts! So maybe tomorrow I'll go to O'ville and stay with my parents, go shopping in Newmarket, that would be fun.

Thursday Caleb has his 9mth doctor's appt. After that we're going to my cousins to meet their new little guy, Spencer. Can't wait for that.

Caleb is crawling everywhere! It's so cute and fun! But the other day, someone told me that he's lost his baby looks, and now looks like a big boy. That kind of made me sad. But he'll be my baby forever!

This past saturday we had baseball. We had to play 4 games. OUCH! I was so sore by Saturday night. But I must say, that I played the best baseball for a long time. I got onto base everytime, and I even did well in the outfield, catching balls! I was so happy with myself. My parents were here for the weekend to help with Caleb, it was nice having them stay the night.

Since last Wednesday I have made a commitment to scrapbook a page for Caleb's book every day (minus the weekends) and so far I've been doing well. I need to majorly get caught up, yesterday I went to the store to get more papers, and this afternoon I probably will go to Shannon's and scrap a page with her help. I find that I would stress out about a page because of all the details, but then when I decided that it doesn't have to have details, it made it a lot more appealing to me.

Well I better get Caleb some breakfast.
